A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Thanksgiving Monday in Mississauga. The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Bloor Street and Fieldgate Drive in the city’s east end.
Peel Regional Police reported that the pedestrian was taken to hospital as a precaution. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Road closures were put in place temporarily but have since been lifted.
