Toronto police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred Tuesday evening in Etobicoke.
Officers responded to the area of Dixon Road and Kipling Avenue around 6:14 p.m. after reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, was transported to hospital via trauma run. The extent of her injuries has not yet been confirmed.
The vehicle involved did not remain at the scene. It is described as a dark-coloured SUV. The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to identify the driver.
