A residential building under construction in Brantford was destroyed by fire early Friday morning. Fire crews responded to the blaze on Arthur Street at approximately 1:22 a.m. and arrived to find the structure fully engulfed in flames.
By 4:35 a.m., the home was declared a total loss. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
