A two-vehicle crash on Highway 8 in Kitchener caused major traffic delays Monday morning. The northbound lanes were brought to a stop between the flyover and Sportsworld Drive.
Dashcam footage from the scene showed a FedEx truck jackknifed across the roadway, with emergency crews including fire trucks and an ambulance present.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, the truck’s fuel tank was punctured in the collision, leading to a fuel spill. Traffic was halted while cleanup and vehicle removal took place.
No injuries were reported.
