A 57-year-old Espanola resident is facing several charges after a two-vehicle collision on Annette Street around 3 p.m. on September 29. Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene, confirming that no one was injured.
After administering a roadside breath test, officers charged the man with dangerous driving, leaving the scene of a crash, and two counts related to impaired driving, including having a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for a week as required by provincial regulations. He is expected to appear in court on November 17.
