A late-night house fire in LaSalle caused an estimated $1 million in damage early Monday. The blaze began around 12:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of Lyons Avenue and is believed to have started in the garage.
Seventeen firefighters responded to the scene, and while no one was injured, three residents were displaced. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to Deputy Fire Chief Mark Seguin.
