Waterloo Regional Police are searching for several suspects after a violent robbery early Friday morning near Waterloo Town Square. Around 2 a.m., a victim reported being chased by a vehicle in a parking lot before being struck.
Two occupants of the vehicle were reportedly armed, and one suspect allegedly hit the victim on the head before robbing them. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe up to five South Asian men in their early 20s, all wearing masks, were involved.
