Two westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Highway 410 in Mississauga are closed after a tractor-trailer jackknifed Friday morning at around 5:20 a.m. near Toronto Pearson Airport.
Ontario Provincial Police said the closure is expected to last several hours as cleanup and investigation continue. The 60-year-old Quebec driver has been charged with careless driving after the truck ended up in a ditch. No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved.
Police are advising drivers to expect delays until the lanes reopen.
