A 9-year-old girl was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on Halloween night in Toronto’s Weston area. The crash occurred just before 8:30 p.m. near Jane Street and John Street. The driver, in a black SUV, fled northbound on Jane Street.
The child was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police have closed roads in the area while the investigation continues.
