Peel police are investigating a Halloween night house fire in Mississauga that has been deemed suspicious.
Emergency crews responded around 9 p.m. Friday to a two-storey home near Mississauga and Kane roads, where firefighters were working to extinguish a significant blaze. The home sustained extensive damage, though police have not confirmed whether anyone was injured.
According to investigators, the fire was determined to be suspicious, and the scene has been secured for further examination by Peel police’s criminal investigation bureau and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office.
