Eastbound Highway 409 at Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke is reduced to a single lane following a transport truck rollover, with closures expected to remain in place until late Saturday afternoon.
The two left lanes are blocked as crews work to clear the scene. No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
The Ontario Provincial Police noted that Highway 409, which links Toronto Pearson International Airport with Highways 401 and 427, will remain partially closed for cleanup. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
