A 47-year-old man from Woolwich is facing multiple charges after police discovered a vehicle on fire early Sunday morning.
Waterloo Regional Police say emergency crews responded around 2:15 a.m. to a car fully engulfed in flames in a field near Three Bridges Road. Concerned the driver might be injured, officers—along with Canine and Traffic Services—searched the surrounding area.
The driver was later located inside a nearby home, where police determined he was there without permission.
He now faces charges of being unlawfully in a dwelling, dangerous driving, failing to remain at the scene, and driving while under suspension.
