Fire crews in Adjala-Tosorontio quickly contained a vehicle fire Sunday afternoon on County Road 50.
The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m., prompting a response from two township fire stations. Fire Chief Todd Aitken said that when crews arrived, there was minimal smoke and no visible flames. Firefighters used a handline to overhaul the vehicle’s interior, containing the fire to the passenger compartment.
The Ontario Provincial Police assisted at the scene. The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical.
