A person has been airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries following a collision between a pickup truck and a transport truck in Ramara Township.
The crash occurred early Friday morning on County Road 169 at Line 5, according to the OPP. County Road 169 remains closed between Line 5 and Monck Road as police investigate.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area or use the designated detour route.
Update – The injured victim, identified to be a 19-year-old man from Bracebridge, has succumbed to his injuries.
