A 65-year-old man was hospitalized after being hit by a firetruck on Friday night.
Police responded around 9 p.m. to Riverside Drive East and Parent Avenue, where the collision occurred. Investigators found that the pedestrian was crossing outside a designated crosswalk when he was struck.
The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Riverside Drive was closed between Parent and Marentette avenues for several hours and reopened after midnight. The investigation remains ongoing.
