A teenage boy was hospitalized after being hit by a falling tree branch while on a trail in Burlington on Saturday.
Emergency crews responded to the area of Lemonville Road, north of York Road, following reports of an injured youth about 200 metres along the trail. Burlington Fire personnel reached the teen, provided on-site assessment, and transported him to hospital with chest injuries.
Authorities have not released further details, including the boy’s age or whether he was alone at the time.
