A person was found dead following a vehicle fire in Scarborough on Friday night.
Toronto police say officers responded around 9:45 p.m. to a report of a car engulfed in flames behind an industrial building near Passmore Avenue and Markham Road.
After the fire was extinguished, a deceased individual was discovered inside the vehicle. Police have not released any information about the person’s identity or the cause of the fire.
Investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine whether the incident is considered suspicious.
