Provincial police are seeking help from the public to identify a dirt bike rider who took off after a crash on October 29.
Officers responded to a collision on Highway 35 around 5:20 p.m., where a car exiting a business was struck by a northbound off-road motorcycle. Following the impact, the rider continued toward Pontypool without stopping or providing any information.
The individual is described as a Caucasian man in his twenties with dark hair, wearing a blue helmet and riding a green Kawasaki dirt bike.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the bike in the area, or has relevant dash-cam footage to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
