A London resident has died following a two-vehicle collision in Oxford County on Sunday evening.

Emergency crews were called to 19th Line near Medina around 6:15 p.m., where two SUVs had crashed. A 40-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital but did not survive. The driver of that SUV received minor injuries, while the driver of the other vehicle was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The stretch of 19th Line between Roads 92 and 96 was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since reopened. Authorities have not provided details on the cause of the collision or whether charges are expected.
