Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fire at the Moosonee Lodge on Revillon Road that occurred Monday morning.
Emergency crews, including the Moosonee Fire Department and Weeneebayko Area Health Authority paramedics, responded around 10:45 a.m. The blaze was reported under control by early afternoon, and officials say no one was inside or injured.
The fire was expected to continue burning for several hours. The cause is still under investigation by OPP and the Office of the Fire Marshal, and authorities have not commented on potential foul play or the extent of the damage.
