A 70-year-old man has died following a pedestrian collision in Georgina late last week. The incident occurred shortly before 7 a.m. Friday on Warden Avenue near Pollock Road. When police arrived, the man was still conscious and receiving medical assistance, and the vehicle’s driver remained at the scene.
By Saturday, his condition had significantly declined, and he later passed away from the injuries he suffered.
York Regional Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have captured video of a silver sedan heading north on Warden Avenue prior to the crash. Authorities are asking the public to reach out with any relevant information.
