A road closure in Galt, Cambridge, has been lifted following a collision involving a transport truck and a building.

The incident occurred just after 8 a.m. Thursday, prompting detours on Grand River Transit routes along Beverly and Wellington Streets between Main Street and Dickson Street. Waterloo Regional Police confirmed the single-vehicle crash, in which the truck struck the side of a business, damaging its trailer and an awning. No injuries were reported.

The truck driver has been charged with careless driving. The roadway has since reopened after the vehicle was removed and the scene cleared.
