Several pedestrians were injured Thursday morning in a multi-vehicle crash at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, which police say may have been linked to a medical episode.
The collision occurred just before 7 a.m. near Terminal 3 and involved six vehicles. Five pedestrians were struck, all sustaining minor injuries, and three were taken to hospital. All drivers remained at the scene.
Emergency crews responded with multiple ambulances, firetrucks, and police vehicles. One vehicle reportedly struck a planter near the terminal. Pearson Airport confirmed the crash did not affect operations. The scene has since been cleared, and police have not released further details regarding the medical episode.
