Three people were taken to hospital as a precaution after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11 in Severn Township on Saturday night. The crash occurred around 9 p.m. in the northbound lanes between Shoreview Drive and Anchor Drive.

Fire crews sent three trucks and eight firefighters, though no one needed to be extricated. Emergency responders from local fire services, Simcoe County and Rama paramedics, along with OPP and tow operators, managed the scene.

The right lane was temporarily closed but reopened once the area was cleared. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
