A 64-year-old Kitchener man is facing impaired and dangerous driving charges after a transport truck overturned into a ditch in North Dumfries on Monday morning.
The single-vehicle collision occurred around 10 a.m. on Dickie Settlement Road near Whistle Bare Road, where the truck left the roadway and blocked both lanes. No injuries were reported.
Police closed part of the road for several hours while investigating. The incident follows a weekend increase in impaired driving calls reported by Waterloo Regional Police.
