A male motorcyclist in his 20s was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in North York on Monday afternoon. The collision occurred near Bayview and Heathcote avenues, just north of York Mills Road, involving an SUV and a motorcycle.
Toronto paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers remained at the scene.
Police have closed northbound Bayview at Heathcote and are advising drivers to seek alternate routes.
