Cedar Creek Road in North Dumfries was shut down early Wednesday after a pedestrian was seriously hurt in a crash. Waterloo regional police closed the stretch between Trussler Road and Northumberland Street around 6 a.m., and the injured person was taken to a hospital outside the region.
The road remained closed for several hours while officers investigated, reopening later in the afternoon.
