A fire in a Windsor home caused an estimated $100,000 in damage Wednesday night. Crews responded around 8:15 p.m. to a residence on Secord Avenue near Rankin Avenue after a neighbour spotted the blaze, forced the door open, and found flames coming from the stove.
Investigators say the fire was sparked by unattended chicken grease. No one was hurt, but two residents have been displaced.
