Fire crews in Windsor responded to a structure fire early Friday on Aylmer Avenue near Wyandotte Street East.
They arrived around 6 a.m. to find flames visible, but the blaze was quickly contained. No injuries were reported.
According to the fire investigator, the vacant, boarded-up home was being used by unauthorized occupants, and the incident is now deemed suspicious. Damage is estimated at more than $200,000.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Windsor police or Crime Stoppers.
