Police are searching for the driver of a white Lamborghini Urus that struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene in Toronto’s Harbourfront area Monday evening.
The collision happened shortly before 7:15 p.m. at Queens Quay West and Yonge Street when the SUV drove through a red light and struck a woman who was crossing. The woman was taken to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Officers later found the vehicle abandoned in an underground parking garage, but the driver had already disappeared. He is described as having black braided hair and wearing black clothing with white shoes.
Investigators are urging anyone who can help identify or locate the suspect to contact Toronto police.
