Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision Monday afternoon in Lambton County. Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Confederation Line and Forest Road in Warwick Township around 1:45 p.m.
Police say the driver of one passenger vehicle was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries, later downgraded to non-life-threatening. A passenger in the same vehicle was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of a third vehicle was treated on scene for minor injuries.
Confederation Line was shut down for roughly five hours between Bear Creek Crescent and Stewardson Road but has since reopened. Lambton OPP continue to investigate and are seeking information from the public.
