A 21-year-old North Bay man faces impaired driving charges after crashing his pickup on Highway 11/17 near Algonquin Avenue late on Nov. 29.
Emergency crews arrived around 10:45 p.m. to find the truck overturned in a ditch. Police say the driver showed signs of alcohol consumption, leading to his arrest and further testing at the North Bay Police Service.
He was later released with a Jan. 6 court date. His licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
