Lennox and Addington OPP have charged a Toronto man with impaired driving following a collision on Bath Road in Loyalist Township on Tuesday morning. The crash occurred just after 10 a.m. when the vehicle reportedly entered the shallow waters of Lake Ontario near County Road 4.
The 29-year-old driver, Kendal Atkin, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Atkin was released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on January 13, 2026. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
