Sarnia Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a driver involved in a hit-and-run on Tuesday evening. Around 8:30 p.m., a pedestrian was struck in a crosswalk at Talfourd Street and Queen Street by a red or maroon SUV traveling westbound.

The driver briefly exited the vehicle before reversing and fleeing the scene. The 54-year-old pedestrian was treated on site and taken to Bluewater Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect is described as wearing light brown boots, blue jeans, a gray trench coat, and a white baseball hat. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
