A 29-year-old man from Essex has been charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle crash in Lakeshore early Friday morning. Essex County OPP responded to the collision on Old Tecumseh Road near Walstedt Way at approximately 2:45 a.m.
The driver was arrested and faces multiple criminal charges, including impaired operation by alcohol and drugs, impaired operation with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, and dangerous driving. He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on January 7, 2026.
Police also imposed a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
