Ottawa police are seeking witnesses following a hit-and-run collision that took place last week in the city’s south end.
Police are seeking witnesses following a two-vehicle collision reported in the Heron Park area on the morning of December 9. According to investigators, a grey SUV was seen speeding northbound on Bank Street around 7:47 a.m., weaving through traffic and cutting off other drivers.
While attempting to merge, the SUV collided with a black pickup truck. Both vehicles initially pulled over near the intersection of Bank Street and Collins Avenue, but the SUV later left the scene. Authorities are asking anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to come forward.
