Ontario Provincial Police have laid impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash early Saturday in McDougall Township. Police were called to a collision on Highway 124 around 1 a.m., where officers launched an impaired driving investigation at the scene.

As a result, a 26-year-old woman from Bradford–West Gwillimbury was charged with two impaired driving offences, including driving with a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit. She is scheduled to appear in Parry Sound court on January 5.

Police also confirmed the woman received an automatic 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and the vehicle involved in the crash was impounded for seven days.
