A 26-year-old woman from Sault Ste. Marie has been charged after a single-vehicle crash on December 13. At around 2 a.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle striking a snowbank on Huron Street.
Upon arrival, the woman admitted to being the driver. Officers requested a breath sample, but she failed to provide a valid one and was subsequently arrested.
She faces charges for refusing to comply with the demand and has been released with a court appearance scheduled for January 5.
