Two drivers were injured following a two-vehicle collision in Mississauga on Wednesday afternoon. The crash occurred in the Erin Mills area near Erin Centre Boulevard and Winston Churchill Boulevard, north of Eglinton Avenue East.
Peel Regional Police responded to the scene just before 2:15 p.m. and reported that one of the vehicles struck a pole. Both drivers stayed at the scene. Paramedics transported a man with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and a woman with minor injuries to hospital.
Several emergency units attended, and the intersection remains closed as police advise motorists to take alternate routes.
