Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in Scarborough on Wednesday night, according to Toronto police.

The crash occurred on Lawrence Avenue East, just west of Kennedy Road, around 7:40 p.m. Police and paramedics responded to the scene shortly afterward.

Police said a man and a woman from one vehicle were taken to hospital as a precaution, while a woman from the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics reported that two patients had minor injuries and a third suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no arrests or charges have been made.
