According to police, a 26-year-old man from Brantford is facing impaired driving charges following a crash in Ancaster. Ontario Provincial Police were called to the westbound lanes of Highway 403 near Highway 6 shortly after midnight on Dec. 13.
Investigators say a silver vehicle was speeding when it rear-ended a black vehicle and then left the roadway, ending up in a ditch. The driver of the silver vehicle was arrested, and testing indicated his blood alcohol level was about twice the legal limit. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
