A 63-year-old man from Belle River has been charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision in Lakeshore, Ontario Provincial Police say.
The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. Friday on Rochester Townline Road. While police released limited details, they confirmed the driver is facing multiple charges, including impaired operation involving alcohol and drugs, driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, and dangerous operation.
As part of the penalties, the vehicle was impounded for seven days and the driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
