A Thunder Bay man is facing several charges after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 17 in the Manitouwadge area over the weekend. Ontario Provincial Police were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. on December 20.

Officers determined the 31-year-old driver was under a licence suspension and showed signs of cannabis impairment. Following the investigation, he was charged with dangerous driving, impaired operation, having cannabis readily accessible in the vehicle, and driving while suspended.

The man was released from custody and will appear in court at a future date.
