A North Bay driver is facing an impaired driving charge after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11. The crash occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on December 22 and involved a rear-end impact.
Ontario Provincial Police say their investigation found the driver of the second vehicle had been drinking alcohol. The 26-year-old was arrested at the scene and taken to the North Bay Police Service for testing. He has since been released and is scheduled to appear in court on January 20.
As a result of the charge, his licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
