A collision at a major Mississauga intersection disrupted traffic Saturday morning after a light pole was knocked down. Peel Regional Police reported the crash occurred near Eglinton Avenue and Erin Mills Parkway around 8:30 a.m., though the number of vehicles involved has not been confirmed.

The fallen pole blocked two eastbound lanes on Eglinton Avenue, while traffic lights at the intersection were left flashing. Officers remained on scene to manage traffic. Police have not said whether there were any injuries.

Motorists were warned to expect delays of up to two hours and were advised to take alternate routes and drive with caution.
