Ontario Provincial Police are advising drivers in Wellington County to avoid unnecessary travel as officers respond to a major crash.
Police said Wellington Road 16 was closed between Wellington Road 109 and Highway 89 following a six-vehicle collision. The closure was announced in a social media update posted at 2:22 p.m., with officers noting the road would remain shut for several hours. No injuries were reported.
Drivers are being asked to stay away from the area and limit non-essential travel until weather conditions improve.
