Renfrew County OPP are seeking help from the public to identify a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian in Arnprior.
The incident occurred on November 29 at the intersection of McLachlin Street North and Elgin Street West, where a pedestrian was struck by a trailer attached to a pickup truck. Police say the driver stopped briefly in the area but then left without checking on the person who was hit.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital and treated for bruising and swelling.
Investigators describe the suspect vehicle as an older, dark-coloured pickup truck in poor condition, towing an open aluminum trailer. Anyone with information or dashcam or surveillance footage is asked to contact Renfrew OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference incident number E251610865.
