Highway 17 is now fully open to traffic between Highway 638 in Echo Bay and Trunk Road in Sault Ste. Marie. The closure was caused by a crash involving a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles. According to Ontario Provincial Police, the incident did not result in any injuries.
