Peel Regional Police are looking into a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in Brampton on Friday evening.
Police say a woman was struck by a vehicle just before 6 p.m. near the intersection of Ray Lawson Boulevard and Falstaff Drive, close to Mavis Road. The vehicle involved, described as a white Honda Civic, left the scene before officers arrived. No details about the driver have been released.
Paramedics transported the victim to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Ray Lawson Boulevard was shut down between Kingknoll Drive and Woodsend Road as officers conducted their investigation.
