A man believed to be in his 20s is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Markham Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called just after 7 a.m. to the intersection of Yonge Street and Royal Orchard Boulevard. York Regional Police say the driver involved remained at the scene.
The area was closed to traffic while officers investigate the collision, but has since reopened.
